i am a writer and photographer based in new york city. unless noted, all photographs posted are my work.
i dubbed this blog the belle epoque as an homage to a period in human history of the same name. while these times are not what you would refer to as prosperous, it is indeed an epic period of transformation in human history. this is a record of the places and people i encounter during this period.
